When we moved into our new penthouse in Manhattan, the last thing we wanted to worry about was trying to install huge garden boxes, containers, plants, trees and drip irrigation ourselves. Then we wanted an "Asian Garden Design style" The owner took the time to listen and help us decide how to use the space for our lifestyle and come up with some truly creative Garden plans. We were pleasantly surprised with how straight forward New York Plantings Garden Design and Irrigation service made it! This Zen Garden Design by New York Plantings Garden and Landscape Designers has literally transformed this desolate rear yard. Created by our Garden and Landscape Contractors crew, this backyard design features a dry river/stepping stone design. Integrating Moss rock and boulders ranging from 700lb to over 1000 lbs provides a true Japanese Rock Garden effect. A naturalized planting area of white pines frames the rear of the garden adding privacy.Flagstone patio sitting area is off to the right. An informal flagstone wall completes the landscaping goals. New York Plantings Gardeners installed  professional size mature trees over 20ft tall and also weighing up to 1000lbs.! Over 250 bags of soil, sand and crushed marble comprise this Asian Garden and Landscape Design. The interesting part is how we bring all the Landscape materials through the house without damaging anything. This Asian Garden Design Includes a full Drip Irrigation System to keep the plants, shrubs and trees alive and maintenance free.
